Privacy policy
Transcription happens locally on your Mac. We do not collect, store, or transmit your voice recordings or transcriptions.
Local processing
Pixscribe uses the Whisper speech-recognition model on your Mac. Audio and transcription content are not uploaded to our servers.
Data collection
We do not maintain user accounts or collect recordings, transcriptions, personal information, or usage profiles. Preferences remain on your Mac.
System permissions
Pixscribe uses microphone permission to capture your voice. Accessibility permission enables it to place transcribed text into other applications.
Update checks
When checking for updates, Pixscribe may contact the update service. The service necessarily receives technical request information such as an IP address; we do not use that information to build user profiles.
